Transcript of Are there different vaccine side effects for adults and children?

The common and expected side effects are quite similar for adults and children, although they might occur a little bit more commonly in kids.

For example, in children, getting a sore arm or having headache and fatigue are the most common expected side effects after the Pfizer vaccine. And they occur at a slightly different rate than they would for adults.

It's also important, though, that we consider those rare, serious side effects.

And of course, they occur differently depending on the vaccine that's recommended for the child or the adult, and, you know, how commonly it might occur.
