So we know there's a Covid vaccine that is recommended for children over the age of 12, but not yet for kids under the age of 12.
We're really hoping that we will have clinical trial data on the safety and effectiveness for younger children early next year. But in the meantime, the best way that we can protect younger children is by getting vaccinated ourselves.
Parents, grandparents, all eligible teenagers and of course, younger kids still need to follow the simple public health advice regarding washing their hands wearing a mask if they're able.
For children between the ages of five and 12, and of course, really important if they have symptoms to get tested.
