This is a really commonly asked question, and it has arisen, mainly because some women who have had a COVID-19 vaccine have reported some changes to their menstrual cycle in the months after receiving the vaccine. Some saying their period was a bit lighter or heavier, or maybe a bit more irregular.

But in fact, there's no evidence that the vaccines do impact a woman's menstrual cycle.

It's more likely that the stress related to the pandemic or even receiving the vaccine itself has caused some of those changes to their menstrual cycle.
