So that's a really excellent question.
And this is called maternal vaccination, and the brilliant thing about giving a vaccine in pregnancy is it gives two for one protection. It protects the mum as well as the baby with the Covid 19 vaccines.
We know that they really are safe and effective in pregnancy and that mums don't get more side effects.
The other really important thing is that the antibodies that the mother develops when she has the vaccine in pregnancy can cross the placenta and go pass to the baby to protect the baby in the first six months of life.
So as I said, it's really fantastic because you can get two for one protection.
